Spotlight On Communication is a program developed for children, of all ages and levels, on the Autism Spectrum. After an initial evaluation, children will be placed in the group that will best fit their social level.

Sessions are based on a developmental and criterion-based skill curriculum. Therefore, children will get the most benefit from attending all the sessions throughout the academic year.

Groups will meet once a week. There is a one time, initial screening to evaluate your child's current social communication level in order to place them in them in the group that will ensure they meet their social goals. Parents will receive an individualized Plan of Care, which will list goals and objectives for their child to work towards during the sessions.

The creator and facilitator of S.O.S is Peggy Pickford, MS, CCC-SLP. She is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of working with children and adults. Peggy uses her knowledge and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders to respect her clients by meeting them where they are; educate them about communication, social and relationship skills; and empower them to live happy and fulfilling lives.
